A Bill has been introduced in tho Prussian Diet which empowers the Government to Taise ,£5,000,0(10 !o purchase land in certain districts in East Prussia and Sehlcswig-Holsteiu, for the settlement ef German farascre, and to prevent the land falling into the hands of Poles and Danes. THE KAISER'S SHEEP FAKMS, Berlin, May 3. The Kaiser has purchased sheep farms at Windhoek, South Africa, with the object of making Germany less dependent on Australia for meats, and to encourage Germans to eettle there instead of emigrating to the United States.
