Thcso two will select a third, end Hie Government will be iislrril lo npiMiiit the three as the commission, and to jet the latter up assnon as possible. Eoch of tlio noniinics lios both town and country interests, and Hie choice, is generally regarded as this best that could be made, anil likely to give confidence to all parties in the dispute, which ib over tho noumluries of the rating area. The proposals of .Mr. W. J. Tho proposals have been the different bodies concerned for some time, and have been generally approved, such opposition as has been manifested Lcuig small. Yesterday, after a full discussion, tho chairman's motion wns carried by tho council by five votes to two, and the six small bod'ies which havo hitherto cat up most of the administration between them will soon cease to exist. Tho mult should make for far greater economy mid efficiency in Hie affairs of the c.unty, and it is hoped that tho reproach of bad government which has long been cast at tho Wnngnnui county will now become a thing of tho past.
