Stewed Fruit, GERMAN DUMPLINGS, Four ounces breadcrumbs, ioz. flour, 407.. melted butter, 1 tablespoon fill hot water, pinch of fait. Sift the Hour and salt into a btsin and mix with the breadcrumbs. Melt tho butter, add tho hot water, and stir to the other ingredients. Shape into balls about tho siro of a walnut, and drop into boiling water. Boil gently about hveuty minutes, until they begin to sink. Serve with stewed fruit. FOR TO-MORROW. Leeks, stock, 21b. fillet of steak, tomatoes, vegetable marrow, suet. FOR SUNDAY. Two dozen oysters, white stock, leg of pork, apples, sage, French beans, peaches, pastry, cream. FOR SUPPER. Five or six lb. brisket of beef, salad, apples, sponge cake, custard.
