Sift the flour anil soda on to a piece of paper. Cream tho butter and sugar and oeut in the eggs one at a time. Add tho (lour, soda, apricot jam, and milk, and stir all lightly together. Put in a greased basin, 'const with a greased paper, and steam two hoars. Turn out and eerro with sauce. TOlt TO-MOKBOW. Two pounds artichokes. Schnappcr. Two dozen oysters. Fruit for stowing.
