WHARF AND RAILWAY BILL.

A Select Committee of the House of Lords lias begun consideration of the Canvey Island Wharf and Railway Bill. Australian and Xew Zealand petitions have been received in favour of it. The Bill authorises the construction of ft deep-water wharf at Canvey Island, am! for connection with tlio mainland by a railway bridge at Bonfleot, costing half a million, and also provides for the erection of cold stores.
