PRESENT STATE OF PARTIES. By Telejraph-Press Association-Oopyrleht. Brisbane, May 1. The counting of the postal votes in connection with the election is not yet completed. Those already dealt with show that tho liberals availed themselves of this method to a greater extent than Labour. In at least threo electorates where Labour had small majorities tho postal votes already dealt with indicate the possibility i of the Tesults being reversed. i The state of parties now is:— Liberals 42 Labour 26 Independent 2 TASMANIAN ELECTIONS. Hobart, May 1. There was unprecedented interest displayed in the Tasmanian elections. The counting of tho votes is very incomplete, but early figures seem to indicate that tho Labour party gains one seat.
