SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for westerly and southerly winds, strong to gale, cold, showery, and changeable weather. Tho barometer will probably rise everywhere. Cold and changeable weather has prevailed, with showery and squally weather in many parts of the Dominion. Westerly and southerly winds, strong to pile, havo been experienced. Wanganm, Jlay I.—Heavy thunderstorm during the night, followed by dull; wintry day; occasional lijht showers. Feilding, Hay I.—Heavy rain during night and morning: cold, windy afternoon and night; still threatening. Cartertdn. May J.— The weather is fine, but cold. The rain does not appear to have all settled yet. Foathcrston, May I.—lfino day. N.W. breeze. Grcytown, May I.—Tuesday night was stormy. Wednesday was fine, though cold. Hastings, Kay I.—A sharp frost this mornins, followed by bright sunshine.
