WOMAN BADLY BUHNED. SErs. Joan Smith, « younß woman residing at Wadestown, was rather badly burned yesterday. She was boiling beeswax over a fire, when the beeswax boiled over, and her clothes ignited. Mrs. Smith was burred about the arms, head, and body. She is fit present in the public hospital. THE WAITRESS AND LTSOC (lit To!oeraph—Preps AssoeNttoa.i Auckland, April 30. A younp woman, May Miller, 28 years of age, died suddenly in a hotel to-day where she. was employed ns a waitress. As it is believed that her death was duo to Ivso! poisoning, an inquest will bo hnld! Deceased, it is thought, came from C'hrislchurch.
