MASTERTON NOTES.
(By Telegraph— Special Correspondent.) Mastcrton, April 2!), The annual meeting of the Mastcrton Boxing Club was held to-night, when there was a large attendance. The annual report showed that a successful season had been experienced. The receipts for tho year amounted to .£3Ol lis. 10d., and tho expenditure to .C2SC 2s. 9d. Mr. A. P. Whatman was re-elected president, and Mr. W. Savillo Smith secretary.
Mr. H. S. Claughton, who has been organist of St. Matthew's Church for five years, has received appointment as organist to St. Andrew's Church, Wellington. No bankruptcies have been recorded in the Wuirarapa this month. There were two for tho same month last year.
