LIFE SAVING SOCIETY.

The monthly meeting of tho Wellington Centro of the Royal Life Saving Society was held at the Y.M.C.A. on April 25. An application by the Nelson Centre for £W trom tho Humane Funds held by the Wellington Centre was deferred till next meeting. An amount of £2 10s. was voted towards tho expenses of M. E. Champion's trip to the Olympic Games at Stockholm, and a recommendation was sent to the N-Z.A.S.A. that Champion should represent the Dominion in the "King's Cup" competition. Amendments to the draft constitution of the Dominion Executive were recommended for consideration. The following nppwntmentswerc mado to the executive:—Messrs. E. Lawson, W. H. Cooper, 11. Rountree, 11. L. Lovestam, E. Perry, and Dick. A letter was received from the secretary, Mr. W. Henry, expressing pleasure at the annual reports received.
