This afternoon at 2 o'clock the Wakanui is to leave Wellington for Napier, from which port she goes on to Gishorne, Tokoniaru, Auckland, and London. The Huruinii is timed to sail from Wellington for London at daybreak on Friday. The ltcmucra is to sail, on Thursday 'for London. , EVERTON GRANGE. The F.-II.S. steamer Evert-on Grange is due here this evening from Wanganui for Homeward loading. Owing to bad weather she was unable to linish loading at Waitara, and will consequently return to that' port on Friday or Saturday. From Waitara she goes to AVanganui, Picton, Ti- ■ inaru, and Lyttclton, leaving the la.«tmentioned port for Avoumouth, via Las Palmas, on May 18. WEST COAST WEATHER. Advices now indicate that the weather conditions at Westport have changed for the better. It was hoped to be able to dispatch the Navua last evening, and also the Koranta. Both these vessels have been detained at the port for some davs. At Oreymouth the conditions are still bad, and the port will probably be unworkable until late to-day. , The steamers Flora and Poherua were outside the bar yesterday morning unable to enter. THE TYSER LINE. The Tywr Company (states the "Australian shipping List") have been advised that the steamer Courtfield left New York last Friday for Melbourne, Sydney, and New Zealand ports. Also that the steamer Sonneberg will follow about Mav 8 for Australian ports, to be followed' by the Star of Australia, on May 25 for Melbourne, Sydney, and New Zealand ports.

J. Darling and •Sons sailers chartered some months ago to load here, but is probably the last big sailing vessel to load wheat at Sydney this season for the Channel, as the freights now ruling arc so high and the demand for tonnage to load at Newcast 0 and on the Pacific Coast is so keen that wu'figure?.
