LAND BOARD.
A special meeting of the Wellington Land Board was held yesterday to dispose of some overflow business held over Irom the monthly meeting last week. There wero present: The Commissioner (Mr. Jas. Mackenzie), and Messrs. J. Dawson, 11. T. Ellingham, and J. Georgetti. A few hundred acres on the fringe of tho nauraugi Deer Forest, which bad been damagod by fire, the land beiug now m grass and secondary growth, wero authorised to be disposed of. The lessee (Jus. Atkinson) of Section /, Block VI, Hunua, was granted a transfer of his leaso to Win. O'Brien.'
