ACCOUNTANT PLEADS GUILTY. By Telegraph—Press AESociation—Copyrieht. (Roc. April 29, 9.35 p.m.) Sydney, April 29. Macpherson, the accountant, pleaded guilty to stealing ,£5197 from the Singer Company, and was sentenced to a year's imprisonment. The Chief Justice remarked that he took into consideration the fact that the example set him in the office was not of tho best.
