Joseph Pfeffer was executed to-day for the murder of his sister-in-law on December 11!. Pfeffer had been paying bis sister-in-law, Florence Whitlov, unwelcome attentions for a. considerable time, and the girl sought police protection. Pfeffer entered tho house where the girl was employed. Sho was sitting at dinner. ]Io put his arm round her necl{. The mistress of tho house was alarmed, and rushed out. The. shooting followed immediately.
