SIR JOSEPH WARD.
INTERVIEWED IN MELBOURNE. By Telegraph-Press Association—Copyrlgnt. Melbourne, April 20. Sir Joseph and Lady Ward have arrived here. Sir Joseph Ward, in an interview on the question of closer relations between Australia and New Zealand, said he believed that Now Zealand wished to follow her owa line in defence matters, but would welcome reciprocal trade.
