Messrs. Dalgefcy and Company, Limited (Palmerston North branch), report a very fair yarding of sheep <it thoir Folding sale on Friday, but owing to the rough weather a number of advertised lots did not-coma forward. Krapty ewes, Bs. 3d., 9s. lid. to 10s. <d.; fat ewes, to 12s. 9d.; four and six-tooth forward v/ethel's, 14s. Sd., 14s. lid. to 15s. Mi. Newton Kinn'fl woskly stock report ;s as follow?*—On Friday, April 19. there was a good attendance for Messrs. Knight ..and KirJtham'.s clearing sale. The theop were a good lot, and competition was for nearly every line, prices on the whole showing an improvement on late rates. Prices realised were:—For Mr. P. Knight's stock: Lambs, 6s. Bd.; cull lambs, 3s. Id.; two and four-tooth ewes, 11;?. 6d.; six and f.f.m. owes, lis. Id.; mixed ewes and wethers, 6s. 2d.; two and 4-tooth wstharst 12s. 6d. Mr. A. J. Kirklinm's stock: Four and six-tooth.ewes and rams, lis. 7d.; two-tooth e\v2:<,' 12s. Ltd.; two-tooth wethers, 135.; lambs, 7s. 3d.; cull Jambu, 2s. 2d.; mixed ewes. 65.; Cortland wagon. £16 ss. At Kaponga, on the same day, the yards were again well filled with cattle, mostly cows and weancrs. The demand throughout was good. Ucst v.oauer coloured heifer* made £1 17s. ' At Mr. W. J. Parson's clearing sale at Pukearuhe, Urenui, on Wednesday, April 24, there was a large attendance. The cows' were mostly second and third calvers, in good condition, realising,- after good competition, from £4 15s. to £10 55.: two-ysar Jersey cross heifers, in calf, £5 to £8 15a.; bulls, £2 ss. to £3 55.; two and a half-year steers, £3 18s.; yearling heifers, £2; Jersey grade calves, £1 £s. Od. to £2 55,; horse, £15 155.; hoggets, 12s. 5d.; f.m. ewes, 55.; porkers, £1 35.; sows, £1 to £2 15s.
