ACTIVE COMPETITION. By Telegraph—l'refs Assoeialion-Copyrigh', London, April 25. At the wool sales competition was activo for all sorts, and prices were firm. For fine-haireil merino bidding was brisk. (Kec. April 26, 9.10 p.m.) London, April 26. The fleece portions of the clips named realised the following prices:—"Wai-iti," top price ll{d., average 9 3-Bd.; "Tunanui." lop average 9 3-Bd.; "Paparati," top 9d„ average Bid. Messrs. Hurray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable message from their London friends, Jtessrs. Sanderson, Hurray and Co., regarding the wool and Bheepskin market:— Wool market shows a hardening tendency. Sheepskins—llerino, full-voolled, market shows no material change, quarter to halfwoollcd merinos advancing a slinde; crossbred sheepskins advanced a farthing per lb. Mining; news will be found on pogo 7 of this issue.
