QUARANTINE MATTERS.

Dr. Norris, Director of Quarantine, has completed a tour of tho world, made for the purpose of inquiring into quarantine matters. He has presented his report, in which he stales, regarding vaccination, that Australia is tho worst pro tooted civilised country in tho world. H( recommends an outlay for quarantine station? throughout Australia of £150,00!) and tho immediate expenditure of .£BO,OOO. The Hon. F. G. Tudor is placing tho latter sum on the Estimates.
