Those sold during the first quarter of the present year amounted to .£248 155., and tlio-so redeemed amounted to .£2SG 13s. Tho whole of this business, with the exception of a very small amount at Auckland, Christchnrch, and the Thames, was done at Wellington. Tho figures for tho corresponding period of 1911 wore:— Stamps sold, X 323 155.; redeemed, J!32S 4s.
