SCHEME PASSED. Cabled Information has been received by the acting-chief inspector for New Zealand of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., litU. (Mr. Clarke Johnson), that the 6chemo of capital rearrangement was passed unanimously at the meeting of shareholders in London on Thursday. Wo are authoritatively informed that votes favourable to tho 6chome were recorded by five-sixths of the shareholders resident In this Dominion, there being practically no opposition.
