WANGANUI A. & P. ASSOCIATION.

ANNUAL MEETING. Tho annual meeting of the Wnnganui A. and V. Association was held on Thursday. Tho report stated that tho association is in a very sound financial position, tho debit balanco at tho bank having been reduced to ,£272 10s. 3d. Tho committeo had reduced the liability to the bank by .£2Bl sinco this time last year, and tho assets showed a credit balance of .£I3OB over liabilities. Tho subscriptions received last year totalled £ilB, including .£7O from life members. Tho association has now 138 life and 710 ordinary members. Tho following officers were elected for tho ensuing year:—Patrons, Messrs. F. A. Campbell and It. Kussell; president, Mr. Fred. Moore (re-elected); vice-presi-dents, Messrs. C. G. Russell, A. Burnett, H. V. Hammond (all rc-olcctcd); lion, treasurer, A. Burnett (re-elected); lion, vet. surgeon, Mr. Maxwell Edgar, M.R.C.V.S.; hon. architect, Mr. Alfred Atkins, F.R.1.8.A.; hon. solicitor, Mr. T. Allison; hon. surgeon, Dr. Hatkerly; auditor, Mr. W. Hall. The president referred in eulogistic terms to tho services rendered to the association by the secretary, Mr. Selby Morton, and tho treasurer, Mr. A. Burnett. A minuto recording the services of tho secretary was placed in tho minutebook by tho unanimous wish of the uioeting.
