Acting on the strength of. a. cable raeslago from her father, tho detectives have taken under their charge a young lady who arrived by a recent steamer from New Zealand, with the object of returning her to parental control. The story published is that the lady came to Sydney to meet a young gentleman who liad arrived by an earlier boat, tho couple intending to proceed to San Francisco to get married.
