(By Tcleeraph.-Spccial Correspondent.) Wanganui, April 18. The Public Health Inspector, reporting to the Wanganui Hospital Board, says that during the inspection of I'ooil supplies last month he found it necessary to condemn food in some eases ns unfit for human consumption. lie also found some bakehouses' turning out bread under the standard weight <is required by law. Warnings had been issued to the offenders. which it was hoped would improve matters.
At the annual meeting of the Wanpnnui Agricultural Association, Messrs. E. A. Campbell and 1?. Russell were re-elect-ed patrons. Mr. Fred Moore was re-elect-ed president. Messrs. C. Ci. Russell, IT. V. Hammond, and A. Burnett wore reelected vice-presidents. The last-named was re-clectecl treasurer.
