FLAGRANT IMMORALITY. By I'eleffraah—Press Association—Gouyrluht • (Rec. April 17, 8.10 p.m.) Melbourne, April 17. Tho Presbyterian Synod in the New Hebrides has fcrwnrded to tho General nod a series of resolutions declaring that (ho flogging of natives is not decreasing, and that flagrant ofl'onces against decency and morality are committed aboard French recruiting vessels. Kidnapping is also charged against tho French recruiters. Tho resolutions conclude by staling that unless the offenders, whether British or French, aro adequately pun l ished, then tho Condominium Government, as far as the natives aro concerned, is worse than a farce.
