In that yeav sho.' delivered an address at Wesley ChureTi, Melbourne, in'-Avbich she 'propounded tlie"question "Can aV Actress be a Christian?" nnd answered itwith an emphatic negative,' describing''theatres generally ns "sink.? of iniquity":and be' seedling lior auditors to pray' for the souls of various members of tlto theatrical profession then , performing in Melbourne, whom she mentioned by name.. She subsequently conducted' a mission through Now Zealand.
