A Canadian lady travelling in Mexico tras robbed by bandits, who stopped the train she was travelling in. The bandits beat her on the soles of the feet in order to make her disclose the whereabouts of ,i«wels she was supposed to be carrying. The British Minister has been infomied ■] the outrage. The bandits killed the train conductor. .The situation in Mexico City is serious, •nd the American colony is armed with Ji&en.
