ROSENEATH AFFAIRS.
A representative meeting of members of the Rosencath Ratenayers' Association was held last ovening, 'Mr. T. W. Ward presiding. A letter was received from the Wellington Citizens' League asking the association to send a representative to its meetings. As there was n difference of opinion among members, it was decided to take no action, as an association, in reference to joining the- league, but to leave it to individual members to join if they so desired. It was decided to write to the City Council thanking it for erecting a handrail in Upper Grass Street, which had proved a great convenience to the public, i'he association decided also to urge the council to replace, the rough fences running through the main streets of Roselieath with fciiccs similar to that erected in Grass Street. It was resolved to ask the council to light Upper Graf ton liond, leading to Halaitai, and to continuo Rosenenlh Terrace into Ifataitai, as the public, doctors, nnd tradesmen have at present no outlet that way.
