Sydney, April 15. The Deaa of Newcastle, Dr. GoldingBird, in a sermon declared that it was no exaggeration to say that the majority of tlio rising generation in Australia was without any religious sense. Religion to them, said the Bonn, was foolish and unmanly. It was "also no exaggeration to say that many children eonld repeat tho mimes of the Melbourne Cup winners for tho twelve years past, lmt they did not know tho names of the twelve Apostles.
