Christchurcli, April 13. illiam Toon, aged forty-nine, a resident of Addington. was killed by a fall from a young horse yesterday. 'He was about' to dismount, when the horse threw him. CRUSHED BY BOULDER. Thames, April 13. William M'Kce, a young married man, received injuries, which aro likely to prove fatal, while working in the' deep level crosscut. M'Keo was engaged in the face when a large stone in the roof of the ilrivo came away and crushed him Ito the floor. His spine was injured, and lie also sustained a fractured leg. RESOURCEFUL WOMEN. A boy named Bertie Stanley had both thighs and his left arm fractured yesterday at Northcotc. At the time of the accident he was having a ride in a baker's cart with another boy, and, while the man in charge was delivering the bread, it is understood that, the horse ran off. Tho vehicle capsized, another lad who was on the cart falling clear.
