UNVEILING OF A STATUE OF QUEEN VICTORIA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Kcc. April 11, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, April 13. The Prime Minister, M. Poincare, in the presence of a gathering of Ambassadors and Ministers, unveiled the Queen Victoria statue at Nice, and paid an eloquent eulogy to the character of the late Queen and her relations with France. Tho ceremony was a remarkable demonstration in support uf the entente cordialc. There were 100,000 visitors present, and GOO British marines, 1000 French marines, and 8000 soldiers participated. King George sent a message rejoicing at British and French troops marching together once more. (Rec, April 15, 0.20 a.m.) Paris, April 11 sr. Poinc.are will unveil a statuo of the j late King Edward at Cannes to-day.
