(Specially written for The Dominion.) 1-111 DAY. Baked blue cod. Jioiled corned beef. Carrots. Turnips. Potatoes. Amber pudding. AMBKK PUDDING. Six apples, 3oz. moist sugar, 1 lemon, 2oz. butter, ;) eggs, puff paste. Peel, core, and slice tho apples; place into a pan with butter and sugar, squeeze the lemon juice in also, and then add grated peel; cook about three-quarters of an hour; turn into a sieve and rub through with a wooden spoon. Stir the yolks into mixture; lino edges of piedish with paste, odel applo mixture, and bake l! 0 minutes. Whip whites to n stiff froth, sweeten, and spread over top. Put tack into oven again to brown a little. FOR TO-MORROW. Two pounds buttock sleak. Three sheep's kidneys. Potatoes. Celery. Stale spongecake." Coconut.
