During the voyage out from Homo some heavy weather was experionmd. No sooner had the vessel cleared the Thames than she eiicoiintji'cd a strong' south-west gale, heavy wpter being shipped. Whilst crossing the Hay of Biscay another gale was encountered, ami the climax ennie much later, wlren the Indrabarali wa ß within a day's steam of Melbourne. She then ran into a cyclonic storm. A high head sea was running, huge waves broke over the steamer fore and uft—at times reaching as high as the bridge. The storm raged for 24 hours, and for eleven hours the Indrabarali was. lioveto.
