G. liiddell, S.M., on a four months old infant named Margaret Mary Ellis, daughter of Thninns Ellis, butcher, residing at , :!0G Sydney Street. The mother of the child deposed that the deceased had been weak since its birth, and latterly had been subject to convulsions. Dr. licnnelt had proscribed some tabloids, and these had appeared to do the child good. On Tuesday night deceased had taken convulsions, had boen given a tabloid, and at 10.-15 seemed better. At 11.30 tho witness had looked at deceased again, and had found that she was dead. Tho verdict was that deceased had died of convulsions. FINGERS BADLY CUT. Waltor Weaver, 1!) years of age, was admitted to tho Hospital yesterday suffering s from a badly injured hand.
