OPIUM RAID.
ON HAINING STREET HOUSE. At about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon Senior Sergeant Hutlodge and Constable P. Doyle, of the Mount Ccok Police Station, raided the premises of -10 Unhung Street and arrested Joe Tong on a charge of possessing opium in a form .suitable for smoking. The house is said to have been under suspicion for some time, and it is reported that yesterday's investigation reveal pd oert-aiii paraphernalia 'regarding which explanations will have (o he made before the magistrate.
