CURRY AND IMCE. lib. lean meat, ■} pint stock, 1 large onion, 1 apple, J teaspoon green ginger. -07.. butler, teaspoon salt, i teaspoon grated cinnamon, li cloves, '1 heaped teaspoons curry powder, 1 tablespoon (lour. Cut tho meat into half-inch squares, slice the onion, chop up the apple. Put butter into stowpan, fry onion brown, add meat, apple, ginger, spices, cloves and salt, dredge flour, and curry over. Let these remain on tho fire .i minnte or two, then add stock, and simmer till tender, from three-quarters of an hour. Just before serving add a few drops of lemon juico or vinegar. Serve rice round tho curry. FOE TO-HOKROW. Ono Haunch of Venison. Salad Oil. Thyme. Potatoes. Red Currant Jelly. ' Cauliflower. Breadcrumbs. , Suet.
