These included the Trades Councils, the Unity (Labour), and Labour Party Conference*, the Libraries' Association Congress, ami llio Socialists' Conference. Thero. were, also several trades conferences, -representing the whole of the nonunion. These were the Plumueiw', Drivers', aud Shearers' Conferences. In addition to those the Catholic Young Men's Clubs of New-Zea-land held a conference, and Iho Church of Christ held u gathering to consider foreign uiNsiuu work chiefly. GRAMOPHONES.
