JuanovMch, a former Montenegrin Minister for Foreign Affairs, who- was sentenced to fifteen, years' imprisonment in October, 1907, for treason, and was incarcerated in a fortress at Podgorica with his feet enchained, has escaped with other conspirators. The prisoners dug a subterranean passage, the operation taking eight months. They disposed of the earth down a drain. They have all reached Constantinople.
