Callemin, on« of th'a mem arrested in connection with the motor outrages, was nicknamed "La Science." The police hid in a courtyard throughout the night, and banged the doors violently in his face when he appeared on a'bicyclo, Callemin drew a Browning pistol, but was tripped up and handcuffed. Two other Browning pistols and many cartridges, besides six thousand francs were conccaled La the lining of his clothes.
• The arrests now number thirteen out of thirty persons supposed to be concerned in the outrages.
