CHURCH OF CHRIST CONFERENCE.

The foreign mission of the Church of Christ Conference was continued on Saturday evening, wben a foreign mission, rally was held, Mr. A. J. Saunders presiding. Addresses were delivered, on tlio urgency of missions in South Africa. "The Great Commission and its Eolations to Foreign Missions," and "Our Responsibility," by Messrs. L. Johnston (Palmerston), G. Yerco (Nelson), and S. H. Mudg© (Southi Wellington). 1 Special services were held on Sunday in the citv and suburban churches.

The concluding session was held yestcr.day morning, when the Biblo School reports wcro read and adopted. The constitution of the Dominion Union was read and adopted. Statistics showed an increase in Church and Sunday School membership. The next conference will be held at Nelson. Mr. Knapp being president and Mr. Boddington secretary. A thanksgiving service was held last ovening in Vivixn Street Chapel. Willi referonco to a motion adverse to compulsory military training, which was camel by tlio conference on Saturday, a slight error occurred. The proposer and seconder vero given as Mr. Grinstcad and Mr. Hardham, The actual seconder was Mr. Johnston, and not Mr. Hardham, air stated.
