Messrs. Dalgo'.y and Co., Ltd., Wellington, report on their usual fortnightly stock sale, l\2ld at Upper Ilutt on Thursday, as follows:—Wo had a pood ynrding of sheep and a large entry of cattle. The demand for sheep was very keen, and every pen was sold under the hn.lum.3r a: prices satisfactory to the sellers. Bidding for cattle was plow at the commencement, but livened up during the sale, and wc disposed of practically all lines. Following prices were realised:—Two and four-tooth wo hers 12s. '4d.; two-tooth owes, 12s. Id.; breeding ewes, 85. Id. to 9s. 2d.: cull ewes, 4s. 10d.woolly lambs (small), ss. 2d. to ss. 6d.- culi lambs, 4s. 4d.
