GRAND ORANGE LODGE.
(By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) Palmerston, April 7. The Grand Orange Lodge held its annual meeting here yesterday, Bro. Budden, 1t.W.G..U"., presiding. A deputation from the local Ministers' Association was received. The liev. J). Hird, iI.A., voiced the welcome of the association, mid wished the Grand Lodge a successful year of service. An application for a new lodge charter was received from Eltliam, and was heartily agreed to.' ,In the matter of a protest from Pukckohe, re their number being given to another lodge, the action of the Grand Executive was upheld. Permission was given to Lougo 71 to raise four of its members to the H.A.P. degree, so that the working of the lodge may be carried out in due form.
