TWO AERESTS IN STDNET. By TdoerttDh—Preiß Aseoclallon—Goryrlchi (Rec. April 6, 2 a.m.) ' Sydney, April 5. An exciting encounter took place in North Sydney. Andrew Cormnck was locking up his liouso when he was confronted by a masked man, who presented a revolver at his head. Cormack Knocked the rovolvor aside, and closed with tho man. They struggled and wrestled, until Cormnck's cries brought liis brother to the scene, and between them they disabled the intruder nnd conveyed him to the police stntion. The police also arrested an armed man in the city early in tho morning, nnd upon searrhing him found a portion of tho proceeds of ono of the recent numerous burglaries. The man fought savagely before being overpowered.
