ANGLICAN MISSION SERVICES
MIDDAY ADDRESSES. The midday services in the city conducted by Anglic.-m clergymen were continued yesterday. The Rev. W. Raine gave the address at the open-air gathering in Post Office Square, his subject being "Heboid the .Man." Before the commencement of the address the speaker was asked if lie irould.be prepared to answer ouestions. His reply was to 'he effect that he was there simply to give his message and bear witness '.n'bi's faith. The crowd then split into two. sections, one being addressed by Mr. Raine, and the other by Mr. Freeman. At. the Town Hall Concert Chamber the Rev. W. Fancourt gave the address. The women's meetings at. the Missions to Seamen Institute in "W'hitinore Street irere very well attended, interesting and impressive addresses being eiveu by tho Revs. A. M. Johnson mid C. !•'. Askew. The meetings will be continued to-day at the same times and places as advertised in another column. Tho Bishop of Wellington (Dr. Sprott) will give the address at the Town Hall Concert Chamber.
