EMPLOYMENT OF CHILDREN.
BRITISH RESTRICTIONS. By Telegraph-FroM Association-Copyright London, March 31. The Employment of Children Bill was read a second time in the House of Commons. _ It raises the ago limit for street trading .to 18 years for girls, and 17 years for boys. Newspaper lads and costers' children arc excepted. The local authorities may specially license boys over 15 years if no other suitable work for them is obtainable.
