SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications arc for high easterly winds northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and moderate to strong northerly winds elsewhere. Mild and hazy conditions, wilh incrtasinß cloudiness, are probable everywhere, but rain may'be expected to folhro shortly in the northern and southernmost districts. The barometer has a, falling '.ondency everywhere. Anticyclonic conditions have prevailed, with cloudy and misty weather in the northern and southernmost districts, bui, fair weather liar, been experienced generally, though overcast at times elsewhere.
