The butchers' striko continues and police escort was obtained for a load of meat being brought into town, rumours having been circulated that thero was a movement afoot to capture it. Tho strikers assembled in front of tho shop where tho meat was being unloaded and expressed freo opinions regarding the men engaged in the work. Police assistance was called for, and' persuaded tho critics to desist, but later on thero was another demonstration.
