Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., re* port follows on their Palraerston stock sale:—Wc offered a very heavy yarding of botn sheep and cattle to n large attendance, buyers being in evidence from the Manawatu, Wairarapa, and Havrke's Bay, where the bulk of the stock was bought for. Sheep comprised mostly lambs, all selling at eood values. In cattle our entry totalled over 12C0 hoad, nearly half of which were grown steers, in good forward condition (wc experienced a very pood inquiry for this class, every lot . changing hands with the exception of two small pens).
