. Messrs. Dalgety and Co.', Ltd.. report on their Waikanae sale, held on Monday, na follows:—We had a small yarding of sheep and a good entry of cattle, which we submitted to a fair attendance of buyers. We quote: Sheep—Ewes and lambs, all counted, 7s. 6d.; small lambs, to 6s. 6d.; twotooth Itoinney rams. £2 25.; four-year do.. 20s. to 30s. Oattlc-Fat cows, to £5 12s. 6d.; three-year bullocks. £6 155.; store cows, to £2 7s. 6d.: forward cows, to £4 65.; eight-cen-months steers, to £3 17*. 6d. .Messrs. Williams mid Kottle, Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale in the Miller's lload yards, Danncvirke, last Friday, when gthey offered a. largo yarding of sheep and cattle to a representative c'.tendancc of the public. Bidding was brisk -:hroughout, and they had a total clearance. They quote- as follows:— Two-tooth ewes, lis. 6d. to 12s. 6d.; twotooth wethers, 12s. 3d.; four-tooth ewes, lis. 6d. to 12s. 6d.; store,ewes, ss. 4d. to 6s. Id.; two-tooth Romncy rams, £2; fat and forward ewes, 9s. to 9s. 3d.; store cows, £2 65.; mixed-sex weaners, 255. to 285.; yearlings, 315.; fat, cows, £4 10s.; bulls, up 'to £3. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—We held our monthly Waikanae sale at our yards yesterday, when wc offered a fair entry of both shesp and cattle to a full attendance of buyers, and under the hammer and privately afterwards we disposed of our whole entry, barring one pen of sheep, at satisfactory prices. We quote as follows: —Two-'.ooth wethers, 12s. 6d.; ew3s, two, four, and six-tooth (small), 9s. Id.; cwos, failing, Bs. 3d.; f.f.m. ewes, lis. 6d.; lambs 95.; cull lambs, ss. 4d.; .heifers, yearlings, £3 10s.; heifers, in calf. £4 123. 6d.; weaner calves, good, to £1 13s. 6d.: dairy cows (soring calvers), from £3 17s. 6d. to £4. Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report as follows on their Marton rale:—A good sntry of sheep and a small yarding of cattle. Cull ewes. 4s. to ss. 3d.; store ewes, 6s. Id. to 6s. 5d.; mixed aged ewes, 7s. 5d., 6s. 10d.. to 9s. Id.; forward ewes, to 95.; fat and forward ewes, to 10s. 7d.,; mixed lamos, good, to 9s. 2d.; medium lambs, io 7s. 6d.; w-janer steers, good, 355. 6d.: dairy heifers, £4; Lincoln rams. 2 to 21 guineas. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having hold their usual weekly sale at Waipukurau, when, they offered a fair yarding of sheep and cattle to a good attendance of the public. Prims realised were up to late rates. The following sales were.made: -Eight fat bullocks, £8 10s.; one fat heifer £4; two three-year steers, £5 10s.; 127 omptv cows, at £4 12s. 6d.; 16 forward eows, at £5 12s. 6d.: 471 four-year ewes, at 10s. sd.- 161 niiMd woolly lambs, at Bs. 2d.; 215 two-tooth ewes and wethers, at 125.; 22 forward ewes, at Bs. Id. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd., Palmcrston North, re-nort.-At Tlimitangi, on Monday, we had !i good ciilrv of shr,?p and a heavy yarding of cattle. Bidding was not nuitc eo brisk as at the late sates, nnd several pens were passed at auction.
