SPORTS' PROTECTION LEAGUE.
(Br ToieEraph.--Snscia.l CorrosDonaonU Hokitika, March 2G. Mr. A. Paapc, organising secretary of the New Zealand Sports Protection Leagues lias concluded a tour of the AVe*t Coast, being very cordially received wherever he spoke. Branches were formed in the. various towns. At the meeting of those interested in sport, which was held at Hokitika, aftor officers had been elected, it was decided to make n recommendation to the Board of Control that the proposed formation of centres be cancelled, and that each branch deal direct with the Board of Control.
