In the second round of tho Savile Cup Mangaheia (Gisborne) defeated Hawko's Bay "li" team by 10 to 3. In tho first round of tho Handicap Cup, Hmvarden (Clu-ist-cluirch) beat Hawko's Bav "C" team bv 5 to 1.
